Leeds wasted a two-goal lead in added time of the second half and had a double scare in extra time before eventually beating West Ham on penalties to reach the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1987. Mateus Fernandes and Axel Disasi scored on the 93rd and 96th minutes to make it 2-2 at the London Stadium and force extra time. In the penalty shootout, Pascal Struijk scored the decisive penalty.
